About Kerry Humphrey

As a Charlotte native, I've had the privilege of watching our city grow from a large hometown into one of the nation's most vibrant places to live, work, and raise a family. Having experienced that transformation firsthand, I bring a unique perspective to helping clients navigate the ever-changing Charlotte real estate market.

My roots run deep here. I attended Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools before earning my undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and my MBA from Queens University of Charlotte. I grew up in Mint Hill and have spent my adult life living throughout South Charlotte, including the Ballantyne and SouthPark areas.

Before transitioning into real estate, I spent 25 years as an executive recruiter, partnering with companies and professionals throughout Charlotte's growing job market. My career centered on understanding people—their goals, motivations, strengths, and what mattered most to them as they made important career decisions. Many of those conversations involved relocating to Charlotte, where I found myself advising families on neighborhoods, schools, commuting, and the unique character of different communities long before they ever purchased a home.

That experience naturally led me to real estate.

Buying or selling a home is one of life's biggest decisions, and I believe every client deserves an advisor who takes the time to listen first. My role is to understand your priorities, educate you throughout the process, and provide honest guidance so you can make confident decisions for yourself and your family.

Whether you're wondering what your home is worth, considering your next move, relocating to Charlotte, or simply have questions about today's market, I'd welcome the opportunity to connect. Even if our first conversation is simply over a cup of coffee, my goal is to listen, answer your questions, and help you make informed decisions whenever the time is right.
